Last Wednesday, there was a showing of Teton Gravity Research's "Further" (which we've highlighted in the WW already) at the Mt. Baker Theater here in Bellingham. As an added bonus, there was a little teaser from TGR's other film this season, "The Dream Factory". Here's the full trailer for you!
Not only are we getting ready for ski season, but we're also itching to start swinging some tools. This next video of a winter ascent of the Davaille Route (IV: 5.9, A1, WI4+/5, 1000m) on the north face of Les Droites in Chamonix has got me pumped! According to Alpinist Magazine, the first ascent in 1955 took over 5 days and was done before the invention of modern ice screws or ice tools.
