    I once had to climb a 75' tree with a chainsaw to trim it - leaving 70' of coiled rope on the ground. Had my (ex)wife belay me and knowing I was roped got WAY out on the ends of some skinny branches. After a while I looked down and she was dutifully belaying me ON THE END of the 70" coil.
