Weekend Warrior - Videos to get you STOKED!!!
The first video this weekend comes from Oudtshoorn South Africa (which, by the way, is also home to the world's largest ostrich population). Now that you have your head out of the sand, check out some sweet climbing!
I've been trying to hold out, but with this recent release of highlights from the upcoming Reel Rock tour, I have to give in - yes, it is almost FILM SEASON!! Before long, we are going headlamp-deep in clips and trailers from all the awesome upcoming outdoor films that are coming up this fall.
As I said, Reel Rock just released a new clip from one of the films on their upcoming tour. From "La Dura Dura" (The Hard Hard), it features two greats of the climbing world, Chris Sharma and Adam Ondra working the same route. Some are calling it a competition, some say they are just feeding off each other's energy. Either way, it should be inspiring to watch.
On the Northern coast of the Brittany Peninsula of France lies an area called Kerlouan, which is home to some amazing boulders. This last video shows highlights from the last Blokuhaka climbing Festival. This year's festival is this weekend, September 1 & 2.
Have a great Labor Day Weekend! - James
